Happy Birthday Raquell!

Last weekend was our oldest niece Raquells 14th birthday. She is the oldest granddaughter and Alexa is the youngest. It is amazing how fast this year has gone by, not only watching Alexa grow up, also the rest of the kids in the family. Here is a picture of us at Raquells birthday last year, Alexa was only 10 days old. LOL, disregard the pretty nursing sports bra I am wearing, really cute lime color. My baby was soooo little, her pacifier is bigger than her little face!

Fireworks!

Friday was the most exhausting day ever, we had a long day and night, it was worth it though! Let me start by saying that, Christian wanted Alexa to be born on the 4th of July from the beginning, me on the other hand, did not. But, of course Alexa listened when daddy said he would always have fireworks every year for her birthday. We didn't see any the day she was born but, a year later, daddy kept his promise. She absolutely loved it!

Happy 1st Birthday Alexa!!

We can not believe that a year ago we were blessed with this beautiful child. No words can describe how thankful we are. Alexa had a great birthday, it was a very stressful preperation, but everything turned out great! Here are a few pics from her day.

Got hair?!?!?!?

Alexa's hair has finally started to come back in, she lost most of it after 3 months. Now, her hair is long enough for me to put it up, somehow! It is very difficult since she hates to sit still, but I love it, she looks so darn cute!

Father's Day Lunch!

After our nap, we got ready and took daddy out to lunch to our favorite little restaurant, they make the best breakfast, yum!! We have been going there for a long time, we even took Alexa there when she was only a few weeks old. They really make the best breakfast and lunch!

Happy Father's Day!

Alexa decided to wish her daddy a Happy Fathers Day by jumping on him and waking him up! It was cute, he didn't mind at all. Later, we all took a nap together, of course I had to take a picture of my two loves napping. They look so much alike when they are asleep, I love it!!!

It's been a while since I posted, just wanted to catch you all up. Alexa is 11 and a half months old now. Unbelievable! She is so much fun, always doing something new everday! She says a lot of words, she crawls everywhere and gets into everything. She takes steps on her own, but is not walking on her own yet. I am glad actually, she is growing too fast as it is! She loves to eat EVERYTHING!!!! Christian and I went to Hawaii at the end of May and Alexa stayed with my parents. I won't do that again, we missed her sooo much. She of course had a great time with her gramma, grammpa, Nino Angel and Uncle Danny. They spoiled her rotten! Here are a few pics of my girl, her hair is long enough now that I can put it up somewhat, but it has a sort of curl thing it is doing now. Enjoy!

We are busy planning her first birthday, which will be on the exact day, Friday July 4th. We have so much to do still. I can't believe how fast it came. I miss her being little!! I almost forgot the best part, we have TWO TEETH, FINALLY. One showed up about a month ago and the second one finally came through a week and a half ago.
