I can do it myself, look!

Our big girl is now able to drink her 8 oz. bottle of milk, all by herself. She has been trying for about a month now, holding it on her own only when it was half full. Now she has some muscles in her arms and can hold it herself like a pro.

Merry Christmas!!

We spent Christmas morning at home opening gifts with Alexa. She only opened a few of her presents then went down for her nap. Later that morning we went to Tio Jaime and Tia Liz's house to open gifts with her cousins. One gift in particular Alexa loved, she was able to open it herself, she pulled the bow off the box and opened her gift, it was really cute. All in all Christmas came and went very fast. Looking forward to next year when Alexa will be old enough to participate. She liked to stare at the tree but was not too interested in it, which is good, since we had a lot of ornaments she could could have gotten into.

Christmas Eve!

We spent Christmas Eve at my cousins house, with all my aunts, uncles and cousins from my moms side of the family! We had a great time, all the kids opened all the gifts under the tree. Alexa had a great time opening her presents all by herself. I did not end up getting a picture of her in her Christmas dress. We opened presents a bit late, she was already in her jammies ready to go home and open gifts the next morning! My parents spent Christmas and New Years in Mexico visiting my dads family. We will be doing Christmas with them once they return, then I can get a picture of Alexa in her Christmas dress, it's adorable!

I am 5 months old!!!

We took Alexa to get her 5 month pictures taken in her Christmas dress! We were only able to get one picture with her shoes on, she kept taking them off. She is such a happy girl, always smiling!

Happy Thanksgiving!

It has been a while since I have updated Alexa's blog. Thanksgiving came and went! We ended up spending this Thanksgiving with my dads side of the family, of course I always forget to take the camera out while we are there. These pictures are from before we left. I had to work that day, but I did not mind, since I would have had to cook if I didn't. We arrived at my uncles house and all the family was there, cousins, uncles and aunts I had not seen in a very long time. All in all, it was great food and most enjoyable with family! Alexa loved seeing everyone, and they of course loved her.

Here are some pictures of Alexa playing on the floor. She doesn't like to wear any clothes, just her diaper. She moves around so much that clothes get in the way, she kicks her feet, rolls over, turns herself in a big circle and laughs and smiles the entire time. She is alot of fun, she loves to laugh and she has this fake cough going on, it is really cute!

Our precious girl is 4 months!

It has taken me a while to update the blog, it just seems like there is not enough time in a day anymore. I went back to work the week of Halloween, and let me tell you, it is not fun to be away from Alexa! I miss her soo much, I will not say it is getting easier, but, it's not so bad anymore. I know she is in good hands and the sitter is only 10 min from where I work. Here are Alexa's 4 month pictures in her Thanksgiving dress and her cute little tights. She did really good, she smiled really good with me. Her daddy tried to make her smile, and it was just not happening, lol!

Here are the pictures from Halloween. We went to my sister- in -law Martha's house to meet up with all the cousins and go get some yummy candy, even though Alexa can't eat any. We got all the kids fed and ready to go, but first we lined them up for pictures, 8 out of the 11 cousins were there. Alexa was being held by her oldest cousin Raquell, she is 13. As soon as we left and started at the second house, Alexa fell asleep, she slept through the whole thing.

Yay, its finally Halloween!

Alexa was dressed in her Halloween jammies for her dinner and playtime before we headed out to her auntie Martha's. She ate her rice cereal and banana's, then had her bottle. She was having a great time in her crib playing before we left to meet everyone.

Yay, Pumpkins!!!

We took Alexa to the pumpkin patch to get our pumpkins! They still had a good amount to choose from. Mommy got the biggest pumpkin, then daddy and Alexa. We also got Charlie our orange tabby a pumpkin, we got him a white one, lol!!! It was alot of fun to pick and choose, we then went home and carved them, but, for some reason, those pics were lost, I have no idea where they disappeared to.
