3 weeks and counting!!

It is very unreal how fast time is going. Alexa is 3 weeks old already, wow! Her sleeping pattern is getting better, she is starting to be more awake during the day and wakes up every 3-4 hours to eat. I think she still looks like both Christian and I, still has my beautiful cheeks, lol! She has my mom's hands, long fingers and nails along with her daddy's feet! She is just so beautiful and I can't believe she is mine.

Alexa's annoucement!!

Alexa had her first photo session today. We took her to BRUS to get her pictures done. She was asleep the entire time, the girl taking her picture said she didn't even have to pose her. Alexa was posing herself, lol!!

They call me Mellow Yellow!!!

My little girl looks so cute in yellow!! She still sleeps most of the day and is up alot at night. I sleep when she sleeps, otherwise I am a walking zombie. Christian is still off of work, he is very helpful with her, he lets me sleep as much as I want. It's great to be able to pump and have him feed her without having to wake me up, lol!!

Our little girl is a week old!!

We have been home for a few days now, we were discharged from the hospital on Saturday the 7th, it feels so good to be home!! The adjustment with Alexa is going well, as of right now she has her days and nights confused, she likes to sleep all day and be up at night. We are slowly trying to change this, other than that, all is well. It is still a bit unbelievable that she is here and is a week old already.

Alexa has arrived!!

Our beautiful daughter has arrived. Alexa Nevaeh Contreras was born on July 4th, 2007 at 3:37 pm, 19.5 inches long. She is beautiful and has her mommy's cheeks!! Christian and I have waited a long time to be parents, the love we have for her is just unbelievable! She is perfect in every way, we can not wait to watch her grow, hopefully not too fast!
